Role: Church Clerk
My role as Church Clerk is to ensure that all our membership records are up to date. My duties also include assisting the Pastor, Elders and other departments where applicable.
Inspiration for your role: Being a Church Clerk has allowed me to gain experience, in areas that I was afraid to venture out in.
Favourite Bible Text: Philippians 4:6-8
“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
Why is this your favourite bible text: I first heard this text from a church sister and I related to it right away. Philippians 4:6-8 helps me to be calm whenever I feel uncertain. It reminds me that God has and will always make a way for me and His children.
Here at Hampstead Church, we seek to emulate God’s character the best we can. No one is perfect; however, we strive for perfection through Christ Jesus. Through His strength, we can be made perfect.
